Why :


If you lost the IP of the controller for example

Change the IP of a Lynxspring Edge-534 trough the USB port 



What you need:


Mini USB cable ( Not micro) 

Pro Builder 



How to do it:

  1. Connect the Edge to your PC using the mini USB cable ( on top of the RJ45 on the controller)
  2. Make sure your PC is in the subnet 192.168.7.x 
  3. In the Probuilder, connect to 192.168.7.2



How to factory reset the Edge534


What you need:


Micro USB cable the connector on top ( Not mini on the side ) 

A serial terminal software ( like PuTTY terminal  ) 


How to do it:

  1. Connect the Edge to your PC using the micro USB cable ( in front of the controller)
  2. Open the terminal software and set it to com port
  3. Verify what com port the USB is set to  ( in windows device or by using the Com Port Lookup software here) 
  4. Set Baud Rate to 115200 
  5. Press enter, and follow on screen instruction ( write YES to factory reset...)
